CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK 4days /3nights
The archaeological place of shockquirao comes to be considered as the last Inca city and one of the most beautiful and complete routes of Cusco but with a degree of difficulty (difficult and strong from 1 to 5 has the degree of difficulty) Recommends doing so in 5 days.
In this tour we include an emergency horse or two depending on the number of people in the group

DAY 1. CUSCO – CACHORA -CAPULIYOC– PLAYA ROSALINA —- DISTANCE 19 KM (7HORAS)
Early in the morning (5:00 am) we will pick you up from your hotels and then head for the community of cachora that is at a height of 2850 mt -9350 ft – which is at a distance of 4 hours / 1/2 bus A rest of approximately 40minutes and you can enjoy a breakfast if you wish (not included) because in this place we will organize the horses or mules that we will need to transport all our equipment and food then we will start the walk enjoying the view of the mountains and their vegetation Until arriving at capuliyoc that is at a height of 2915 mt-9564 ft – where we will have our lunch then we will begin to walk for about 30 minutes until arriving at a viewpoint with a spectacular view where we will be able to appreciate at a distance our objective (the inka city of Shockquirao) and also the beautiful canyon of Apurímac and after enjoying the view, we will start our trekking down to Rosalina beach which is located at a height of 1550 mt-5085 ft-where will be our camp.
DAY 2. PLAYA ROSALINA-CHOQUEQUIRAO-DISTANCE 15KM (7HORAS)
This day is the most difficult because we will have a whole day of ascent we start very early 4:00 am to start climbing the mountain without sun would be the best until we reach maranpata which is located at a height of 2800 mt-9240 ft-y The place of our lunch and then we will continue for 2 hours more to arrive at the archaeological site of shockquirao where we are the exploration with our guide and also we will be able to appreciate the sunset and some condors that are by the zone to later go to our camping that is Located outside the archaeological center of shockquirao that is at a height of 3035 mt-
DAY 3. CHOQUEQUIRAO-CHIKISCA-DISTANCE (14KM)
This day is calmer because after breakfast we will make an acenso along the same road to get to Rosalina beach where we will have our lunch and then we will have an ascent for 1 hour 1/2 until we reach our chikiska-1800mt-
DAY 4. CHIQUISCA-CACHORA-CUSCO- (7KM (5-6 HOURS)
This day we begin our journey with an ascent of 3-4 hours until we reach the viewpoint of capulilloc and then 2 more hours until we reach the place where we begin our hike and have a lunch and then take our bus to return to the city of Cusco .

CHOQUEQUIRAO ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK – CUSCO – PERU LOCATION OF CHOQUEQUIRAO: The Choquequirao Archaeological Park is located in the western part of the Cusco region, crossed by the Vilcabamba chain in a SE-NW orientation, its waters flow into the Apurímac River basin to the East and into the Vilcanota River basin – Urubamba to the West. It is located to the North – West of the city of Cusco at an average altitude of 3,500 m. Choquequirao Extension: It comprises 522,878.30 hectares, with a perimeter of 367.09 km, being Choquequirao one of the most important Inca archaeological sites in the area (Travel Peru Cusco). Choquequirao its Delimitation of the Territory: The delimited area that includes the Choquequirao Archaeological Park is located between the departments of Cusco and Apurímac.
