TRAVEL NOTE SALKANTAY TREKKING:

For entrance tickets to Machu Picchu they have 4 different options and circuits: And with the new government regulations, you can spend 2 to 3 hours in Machupicchu, except for the Huaynapicchu and Machupicchu mountains, where you need more time to climb these mountains.

  1. first option: entrance ticket to Machu picchu (this option is included for all tours). (circuit 1-2) recommendable to book in advance to have the first visiting hours 6am and 7am because it has different visiting hours and if we do not have these visiting hours it will be conplicated for the group and for the guide
  2. second option: entrance ticket to machu picchu + Huaynapicchu Mountain (circuit 4).
  3. third option: entrance ticket to machu picchu + Mountain Machupicchu (circuit 3).
  4. fourth option: huchuypicchu (circuit 4) is another option but this circuit is through the lower part of machupicchu without having access to the upper part of machupicchu to take the panoramic photo of machupicchu. This option or circuit does not have an extra price, it is the same price as the option or circuit 1 and 2

Tickets for these 4  options are valid for one day only.

“For example” It is impossible to do with the same entrance ticket one day machu picchu visit and the other day huaynapicchu.
For example” You can not do with the same ticket huaynapicchu and mountain Machupicchu because the 3 options of entry to Machu Picchu are clear and specific.

** But if you want to do some extra mountain like Huaynapicchu (RESERVES 4 MONTHS ANTISPED BY SEASON HIGH TO MAY TO SEPTEMBER) or mountain machupicchu (1/2 MONTHLY ANTISPED),

With the new government regulations and circuits for your visit to Machupicchu it is impossible to do all the circuits

The guide is included for the entire trek and for Machupicchu, but for circuit 1 and 2, which is only the visit to Machupicchu and which is what they normally reserve.

But if you book with the option of the Huaynapicchu mountain, which is circuit 4, or the Machupicchu mountain, which is circuit 3, you will lose your tour with the guide because it will be impossible for the guide to be in different circuits at the same time.

They are two mountain summits that are strategically located already different heights in the citadel of Machu Picchu and with totally different views.
