Start in Cusco – 8:10 am
We meet at the Okidoki Office (Okidoki Hostel) and board a comfortable private bus to begin our journey through the breathtaking Sacred Valley. -
Pisac – Market & Archaeological Site
After about an hour of travel, we arrive at Pisac. Here, we explore a colorful local craft market, perfect for souvenirs and traditional products. Then, we visit the Inca archaeological site, where our guide shares the fascinating history and significance of Pisac in the Inca Empire. -
Urubamba – Buffet Lunch
Continuing through the valley, we reach Urubamba, the “capital of the Sacred Valley.” Here, we enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, sampling typical regional dishes while surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes. -
Ollantaytambo – Inca Fortress & Terraces
Next, we visit Ollantaytambo, where our guide shows the Inca temples, agricultural terraces, and astronomical sites. This ancient town offers a glimpse into the strategic and architectural genius of the Incas. -
Chinchero – Colonial & Cultural Experience
Finally, we stop at Chinchero, known for its colonial architecture, Inca terraces, and handicraft markets, especially traditional textiles. This is a perfect place to appreciate Andean culture up close. -
Return to Cusco – ~7:10 pm
After a full day of exploration, we head back to Cusco, completing an enriching journey through history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.

Travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas – Cusco – Peru The Sacred Valley of the Incas or Vilcanota Valley is nestled between the towns of Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
This valley has very special geographical and climatic qualities and the generous fertility of their land. The Sacred Valley of the Incas is accessed by two routes: the paved road Cusco – Pisaq (32 kilometers from the city of Cusco) or the paved road Cusco – Chinchero – Urubamba (72 kilometers from Cusco) Peru Operator.
The climate is temperate because it is located in a valley, its altitude fluctuates between 2,800 and 2,900 meters above sea level. The sacred valley was historically one of the main points of production due to the richness of its lands, today it is the place where the best grain of corn is produced – Cusco Operator.
The Sacred Valley of the Incas comprises two provinces:
1) Calca: Calca, Pisaq, Taray, San Salvador, Lamay, Coya, Lares and Yanatile.

Travel to Pisac – Cusco: Gateway to the Urubamba Valley, Pisac is a picturesque town with mestizo and colonial characteristics. Be part of the local customs by chatting with their communities and enjoying the handicrafts in the traditional market where You can find various objects and fabrics from the area. Another of the attractions of Pisac is its church of colonial origin where masses are celebrated in Quechua with the presence of the Varayocs, the local authorities.
Get ready to climb up the hill where the Pisac Archaeological Site is located, another of the important fortresses that also guarded the capital of the empire. As we ascend we will witness the most spectacular terraces. Pisac is made up of various neighborhoods, including Qanturaquay, Amaru, Punku, Intihuanta or Solar Clock, and Tanqanamanka, considered the largest pre-Columbian cemetery in South America – Peru Operator.
Travel to Urubamba – Cusco: Located in the center of the Urubamba Valley and surrounded by the beautiful landscapes that characterize the Peruvian highlands, this town was a pre-Hispanic agricultural center.
Enjoy the delicious typical dishes in its famous “picanterías” and restaurants and fill yourself with energy to explore its fields and other landscapes adorned by the imposing Nevado Chicón – Cusco Operator.
Travel to Ollantaytambo – Cusco: Considered the “living Inca people”; This town welcomes us with the mystery that encloses its Inca ancestors, intact houses, in which time does not seem to have passed, various ecological floors, Inca terraces and food reservoirs, and the Inca bridge on the way to Pachar.
Also noteworthy are the pink granite monoliths assembled with impressive perfection and the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, a military building made up of carved stone terraces whose purpose, like that of other fortresses of the same nature, was to protect the empire from another angle.
In this area we will also appreciate other monuments such as Mañaraucay, the Incahuatana and the Baños de la Princesa. But the main attraction of this region is its tradition and people. As if suspended in time and dressed in the traditional way, we will go back to the Inca ancestors, sharing with the local guide and the communities myths, legends and customs that will paint us the panorama of a powerful and mystical empire – Oki Doki Operator.
